The Salzburg Knights' season was defined by effort, passion, and great team spirit. Both our youth teams, U14 and U19, as well as the men's team in the Landesliga, showed strong performances and great development throughout the entire season.
An especially exciting season finale came from the men's team in the game for third place against TV Zell am See in Zell am See. From the start, the game was intense and closely contested. Despite the defeat, the team showed great fighting spirit and proved a lot of character and cohesion throughout the entire season. The team's development and the commitment of every single player give real hope for the coming season.
Our U14 also looks back on a successful season. The young players were able to gain important experience, develop enormously as athletes, and grow together as a team. With great commitment and joy for the game, the team laid the foundation for the future of the Salzburg Knights. In the end, they finished 3rd in the table.
The U19 also impressed with strong performances and great commitment. Against tough opponents, the team repeatedly showed its potential and kept developing both in terms of play and tactics. Team cohesion and the willingness to fight for one another especially defined the team this season. Here too, the Knights secured 3rd place.

Junior Chiemgau Cup in Traunstein
To close out the season, there was also a U14 friendly tournament in Traunstein.
In the first game against Freilassing, our U14 pulled away from the opponent fairly quickly and built a 17-point lead. Every player got the chance to prove themselves, and while the older players led the way, they still brought the younger players into the game fantastically. In the end, it was a clear 30:58 win over Freilassing.
The second game was tougher, and from the start it was clear it would be a hard-fought game if we wanted to win. After Traunstein briefly pulled ahead by 6 points in the first quarter, we managed to level things out by the end of the quarter. Despite the close match, every player saw playing time and made a decisive contribution even with limited minutes on court. Half-time ended level too, 22:22.
The second half continued back and forth, and only toward the end of the third quarter did we manage to pull ahead by five points, making it 39:34. After both teams had emptied the tank, both sides still managed a few more points, but in the end we won the game 46:41 and brought the tournament win home to Salzburg.
